Gettting started...
Blogging is not new to me, I've had the aiffhead site for quite a while now. However that particular site is more a means of personal and creative expression for my audio projects and to communicate with friends and other interested parties in the form of a diary-like structure.
This blog is intended to form a more credible means for reference and participation in professional discussions such as cfh127 and the like. I hope to focus on issues I am working with in my role as design educationalist and design professional.

- My focus and professional interests and practice are in the area of design management. I consider China, India and Asia more generally to be of greatest importance in terms of opportunities for design as a profession to make significant difference to the future of all people on the planet. I am interested in contributing to the process of educating industry and people about the need to utilise design in these regions in order to maximise the potentials of collaborative practice, new technologies and education to solve the problems we face as a global community. I love working with sonics and sound design and have produced and recorded audio compositions since around 1981 using whatever was at hand...
